Una gran varietat de maneres de calcular el transport radiatiu dóna lloc a parametritzacions diverses. Les diferències entre elles impliquen resultats diferents pels fluxos radiatius, fins i tot en les mateixes condicions atmosfèriques. Com que el transport de la radiació solar i de la radiació terrestre representa el procés físic primordial que dóna forma a la circulació atmosfèrica, les diferències esmentades han de tenir un impacte en la qualitat dels models de predicció numèrica del temps. En aquest treball es presenta una anàlisi del paper de les parametritzacions de transport radiatiu d'ona curta en el model Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF-ARW). L'estudi compara l'efecte de quatre esquemes (Dudhia, New Goddard, CAM i RRTMG) en dos casos per a un domini de integració centrat a Catalunya: i) sense núvols i ii) cel cobert. S'analitzen els processos de realimentació directes i indirectes entre els aspectes dinàmics i les parametritzacions físiques deguts als canvis en el càlcul de l'equació de transport radiatiu. Els efectes acumulats d'aquestes variacions s'estudien mitjançant tres finestres temporals: el dia d'inici de la simulació (0-23 h), l'endemà (24-47 h) i l'endemà passat (48- 71 h). Aquestes anàlisis es focalitzen en alguns camps específics del model numèric; des dels camps més directament relacionats amb els esquemes de radiació d'ona curta, com la irradiància horitzontal global o els perfils de la velocitat d'escalfament, a camps aparentment afectats de forma secundària, com la velocitat del vent o la composició del núvols, entre d'altres. Les diferències observades entre les integracions numèriques emprant les diferents parametritzacions augmenten amb l'horitzó de la simulació, essent més importants en l'escenari cobert que en el de cel sense núvols.
